A fascinating start-up focused on reshaping the future of laboratory science. The aim is simple to build technology that enables lab scientist to move out of a lab and focus conducting research form high performance computers. This is done via automating a lot of the mundane works that bogs scientist on actually adding value.
We’re looking for a solid software engineer that can work with scientist throughout the research workflow to build a highly distributed platform systems, custom graph data stores, managing deployment via Kubernates, building custom data storage, retrieval with search functions.
As an early team member you will also be involved in interviewing new hires, mentoring jnr team members, and shaping the culture of the company.
It is worth noting, there is meaningful stock here, a good enough salary to live in a major tech city, and you will have the capacity to make a big impact.
Key Skills:
- Strong programming skills and happy to work in Go.
- Familiar with AWS (Postgres RDS, S3, EC2, SQS, etc.)
- Past experience using Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong HardSci education
- Excellent communication skills
