This is for a young thriving trading firm with a relentless focus on collaboration (no silo work here), best of breed technology, automation and data driven decision making.
This is a chance to work in the thick of the action evaluating large data sets using predictive statistical techniques and then working closely with the engineer team to deploy those insights on low latency trading infra. You will have a chance to make an impact on the trading part of the business (strategies, pricing, execution) or the infra, as people work on a spectrum not a clearly defined box.
Skills required,
- Comfortable using Python and a desire to continue to improve coding skills to production level quality
- Strong education with a BS or PHD from Good college in a HardSci subject.
- Strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge and desire to use more Statistics/Algebra/Probability at work knowledge
